Lodging Review – Holiday Home Terminal A01, Ota Ward, Tokyo

What I like about this lodging:

What you see in the photos is really what this holiday home is like. The ground level apartment had a few steps at the front which weren’t too difficult to navigate with luggage. I like that it is really close to Nishi-Magome station as I hate dragging luggage for too long. We could easily purchase drinks and snacks at the nearby supermarket and Family Mart and have the fridge to keep drinks cold.

Holiday Home Terminal A013 of us stayed at the apartment and there was plenty of space for luggage and for us to hang out. We didn’t have to jump or trip over luggage; each one had our own little corners to sort our packing.

2 of us used the twin beds while another friend used the futon. The bed seemed soft when I sat on it, but was very comfortable to sleep in. My friend said the futon was very comfy and we all liked the blankets as it felt cosy under them.

The air condition units could provide cool or warm air, depending on what you need for a comfortable stay. We didn’t cook or wash our clothes as our stay was too short.

I recommended Terminal A01 to my friend, SL, who stayed there in Dec 2019 with her family. They loved the place, space and location and were thankful for all the assistance Asako rendered to them during their stay.

I’ve stayed in several holiday homes before; Terminal A01 is by far the best and most equipped apartment I came across.

What I wish it could improve on:

There’s nothing holiday home Terminal A01 needs to improve on. I feel Asako and Kenji have proactively made improvements on their own as they always kept in mind their guests’ comfort.

It is the JR Sengakuji Station that require an improvement. I wish they could install a lift or an escalator to one of their platforms that currently only has stairs. Then I don’t have to carry the luggage down/up the stairs when I change trains to get to/from the airports.
